Launch night July 22 (12:00 UTC, when the board went live) through September 30, 2026 (UTC). The season board starts from zero for everyone. The all-time board becomes the Hall of Fame, where each season’s final standings are archived permanently.

The growth ladder is retired (Sep 9): the pool is a flat $5,000, no unlocks, no conditions, and every dollar of it goes to the ten places below. Call of the Week is paid on top: $50 for each of the 4 weeks left this season. Every place pays at least double what it did under the old ladder; first place more than tripled. 35 callers are qualified for prizes right now; the bar to be paid stays at 15 resolved season calls.

Who gets paid: the top 10 of the final season board among qualified callers (at least 15 resolved season calls), plus the weekly Call of the Week winners.
When prizes pay: Call of the Week pays $50 weekly from Sep 9 onward, on top of the pool (earlier weeks paid at the tier active then). Final placements pay after Sep 30, 23:59 UTC.

Scoring

Unchanged from the main board: flat 1u per call, wins pay implied odds, losses count −1u, ranked by season profit.

Qualify: at least 15 resolved calls in the season.
Weekly cap: your first 30 calls of each season week count and later ones don’t, with season weeks ticking over Wednesdays 10:00 UTC (not midnight). The cap was suspended for the US Open (every call posted from 29 Aug to 11 Sep 09:00 UTC counts, however many) and is back on since then; calls from the suspension never used up anyone’s weekly quota. You always know at posting time whether a call counts.
Entry band: counted calls enter between 10¢ and 90¢. Below 10¢ doesn’t count (caps any single win at +9u); above 90¢ doesn’t count (near-certainties don’t pad qualification).
One claim counts once (Aug 9): calls that can no longer settle differently are the same claim. Once a best-of-3 stands 1-0, the game-2 winner, the 2.5 total and the ±1.5 handicap are one coin; the first posted counts, and later ones are still listed with “same claim as #N” on the receipt. Calls that can settle differently all count, even on the same game: ML vs −1.5 (a 2-1 splits them), totals, props, and mutually exclusive brackets (a spread, not a double). Decided from market structure at the moment the call is listed; results never enter into it.
Cutoff: only calls resolved by Sep 30, 23:59 UTC count. Voids and refunds grade 0u.
Market scope: event markets on Jupiter only. Rapid-cycle up/down markets (like Bitcoin Up/Down 15m) don't count: markets that resolve every few minutes would let anyone fill the weekly cap and the qualification bar with coin flips in a single evening.
Reads (community vote Sep 1, 94% · live Sep 2): a call boards only with your own reasoning, 15 or more words about the matchup. Missing it, the call waits and you have 5 minutes to add the read (edit your message or reply under it); later than that needs a human ruling.
Early exits (community vote Sep 1, 86% · live Sep 2): post #close (reply to your call or name the side) to close a position at the market price at that moment; grades on realized PnL. Five accepted closes per caller per season week. A profitable close within 30 minutes of the call scores 0, a scratch; a losing close always counts, at any time.
Disputes: grading follows official market resolution, with a 48-hour dispute window after grading. Corrections are published, never silent.

How to make a call

Any format works for the pick itself. Post in #prediction-alpha-nfa with the #nfa tag (same message or your own message within 5 minutes), state your side (“Badosa W 66c”, “taking Ruud at 72c”, handicaps like “Zverev -1.5 set 72c” all parse), and write your read: your own reasoning, 15 or more words about the matchup. No tag means no call, and since Sep 2 no read means no board, however good the take.

The jup.ag market link is recommended but not required: it pins your exact market. If you skip it, the system searches Jupiter for the market itself. If more than one market fits, the call waits in review until a link clears it up.

Your entry is the ask on the Jupiter order book at the moment you posted: the price the buy button actually charges, not the midpoint between bid and ask. On a wide spread those differ a lot, and the midpoint is not a price anyone can trade at. A price you write in the message stays visible on the receipt and is noted when it differs, but the market decides the entry: quoting odds from elsewhere can't improve your record. A call posted once the outcome is already settled is never listed at all.

Call of the Week

The best read, not the biggest odds (format change from Week 5, Aug 21). Write out your reasoning with the call. Calls without it still count the same for the leaderboard; they just can't win this.
To win, the call has to land held to settlement (a sold-early close doesn't qualify), and what you said would happen has to be what actually happened, to a fair extent. Right call, wrong reasoning doesn't count.
Price doesn't matter. A 60¢ call beats a 12¢ call if the read was sharper.
Each week the counted wins that landed that week (settled or closed; the posting date does not matter) and carry a written read are shortlisted automatically on the Call of the Week page; the ones whose reasoning played out go to a vote among qualified callers. Shortlisted callers sit that vote out.
A read has to be about the matchup and say why: name who or what, cite something concrete, give the reason. Filler sentences don't clear the gate, and only the reasoning in the message when the call was first picked up counts.
The same rules as the board apply: entries must be inside the 10–90¢ band and within your 30 counted calls for the week.
Weeks 1-4 were decided under the original rule (biggest return landed) and keep that record.
Prize weeks run Friday 00:00 UTC to Friday 00:00 UTC and the winner is announced on the Friday that closes the week. This is its own clock: the 30-call cap runs on season weeks, which start from launch night, so a call can sit in one week for the cap and another for this prize.
