I have him winning, both are extremely skilled in striking, Chris has the advantage in grappling however and in reach and height In terms of stats Haqparast loses in everything except takedown defense he’s at 16% above Padilla but has no wrestling experience or any decent grapplers fought previously
Call of the week
Each week, callers vote for the winning call with the best written reasoning. Price does not matter: the read does. Full rules.
How it works
- Write out your reasoning with the call. Calls without it still count the same for the leaderboard; they just can't win this.
- To win, the call has to land held to settlement (a sold-early close doesn't qualify), and what you said would happen has to be what actually happened, to a fair extent. Right call, wrong reasoning doesn't count.
- Price doesn't matter. A 60¢ call beats a 12¢ call if the read was sharper.
- Qualified callers vote on the shortlist each week. Being shortlisted does not sit you out: you vote like everyone else, you just cannot vote for your own call.
- A week is the week the call landed (settled or closed), not the day it was posted. Weeks run Friday 00:00 UTC to Friday 00:00 UTC.
- A read has to be about the matchup and say why: name who or what, cite something concrete, give the reason. Filler doesn't clear the gate, and only the reasoning in the message when the call was first picked up counts.
Week 5 vote open
21 Aug – 28 Aug · picks closed · vote ends Thu, 03 SepPetrino is the better and more skilled striker. If he can keep the fight standing and defend Spivac’s takedown attempts, I think he gets the unanimous decision win
only 60 overs remaining and india has to take 4 wickets + chase 150+ expected, which is very difficult according to current conditions
Barrios Vera leads the H2H 6-1 and has already dominated Olivieri's grind-heavy game on clay. On a hardcourt, I’d expect the matchup to be even more one-sided. Barrios Vera has the serve +1 and power to take control of points early, while Olivieri is a classic clay-court counterpuncher with a weak serve who relies on heavy topspin, long rallies and forcing errors. On a faster surface he doesn't get as much time to build those patterns. Olivieri got a pretty favorable draw in R1 (injured Den Ouden), but Barrios Vera is a completely different challenge. If the Chilean is anywhere near his normal level, he should have too much firepower here.
Benfica is always used to play internationally imo they on a way other lvl then their oppenent so I expect them to w def with 2 or even more goals difference the odd has risen already a bit it’s not the best but still free imo I played on another slip even -2.5 kek if u want better odds but it’s def riskier
TEAM VISION won Game 1, but Game 2 presents a different draft matchup. Yatoro\'s Phantom Lancer, Collapse\'s Doom and Larl\'s Night Stalker give Team Spirit multiple ways to reach and disable Vision\'s Drow Ranger. Doom can remove either Drow or Puck from a key fight, while Night Stalker and Clockwerk can disrupt Vision\'s backline positioning. The live score is 0-0 at 1:11, so this entry is based on the completed draft and the players executing it rather than an early scoreboard advantage. Vision retains strong control through Puck, Batrider and Dark Willow, but Spirit appears undervalued below 50c.
Lee is a 16 year old talent fresh off winning the Wimbledon boys’ singles title, and already through his US Open qualifying opener Lee came from 4-6 Rincon from 2-6 with a tiebreak. Solid value, i think the match will be hard for Rincon
from what i've seen in the past few weeks Navi has some serious weakness that really makes me think they can't beat any team from top3 (and Vitality is #3 for me). Seems misspriced to me, more like
50¢ Andre has reached back-to-back ATP Challenger tournament finals in Lexington & Brownsburg while Boyer has lost early in Brownsburg & Quebec. If Boyer continues to play poorly, Adre's left-hand will create bigger problems for him. My Prediction is ILAGAN wins this match
Wong should win. Wong is ranked No. 94 with a career-high of 92 and holds a clear 97-spot edge over Neumayer (No. 191). At 6'3" he generates more free points on serve, while Neumayer’s recent form sits at just 4-6 in his last 10 matches. On hard courts Wong’s preferred surface the Hong Kong player’s first-strike game and superior ranking experience make him the clear favorite to close this..Wong
Every counted win held to settlement that landed this week and carried a read was reviewed; these are the ones whose reasoning is what actually decided the match. Qualified callers vote here, including the ones on this list, who simply cannot vote for themselves.
